The first episode of Stephen King's The Institute premiered on Thursday evening at the Barbican, headlining in the SXSW Festival. Our very own Joe Freeman plays lead Luke Ellis with a stellar cast including Ben Barnes and Mary Louise Parker who were all in attendance along with other cast members and even a special screened message from Stephen himself wishing this new show the best of luck. King also acts as co producer. Joe spent two days in London talking to press and trying not to give away too much of the plot which promises to be a hit for Amazon MGM+. Joe flies out to LA in two weeks for it's LA premiere and is first broadcast to the public on July 13th.
